About The RoleIn this role, you will design and deliver advanced robotics, physical AI, and multi-fleet management solutions that bridge simulation and real-world industrial environments. You will contribute to the development of intelligent capabilities for outdoor vehicles, working with digital twins, autonomous systems, and existing equipment to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and scalable deployment in collaboration with a globally recognized industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotics and industrial software solutions using digital twins and physical hardware systems to enable intelligent automation outcomes in collaboration with engineering teams
- Lead process modeling and optimization initiatives for continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across industrial environments
- Drive the development of prototypes and production-ready robotics solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate delivery and business value
- Integrate AI-driven and intelligent capabilities into existing industrial equipment to enhance functionality and operational effectiveness
- Lead testing, validation, and deployment activities across simulation and real-world environments to ensure solution quality and reliability
- Define and implement automated robotic systems that improve production efficiency, precision, and overall operational performance
- Contribute expertise in control systems, motion planning, sensing, and decision-making to guide successful project execution
- Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and influence architectural decisions while promoting engineering excellence and alignment with project objectives
- Advanced experience with C++, Python, or Julia software development, including system programming and real-time systems (5+ years required)
- Proven experience designing and implementing robotics or industrial automation solutions
- Strong knowledge of continuous, discrete, and event-driven system modeling methodologies
- Advanced experience with simulation frameworks such as MATLAB/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica, Ansys, or OpenFOAM
- Advanced experience with physics-based simulation tools, including Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac, or V-REP
- Strong knowledge of control theory, estimation, optimization, and robotics algorithms for linear and nonlinear systems
- Advanced experience with distributed control systems, Unix/Linux environments, software testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring approaches
- Proven skills in solving complex robotics challenges through efficient and scalable solution design
- Proven skills in leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
