Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America (TIESNA), a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), is seeking a motivated and innovative Production Engineer to support our growing manufacturing operations in Pendergrass, Georgia.
This role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting equipment and tooling projects, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and helping drive world-class quality, safety, and productivity throughout our operation.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Support production equipment, tooling, and process development projects.
- Manage engineering changes, documentation, and production standards.
- Utilize CAD software for equipment and tooling design.
- Support automation, robotics, AGVs, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Production, and other departments to implement improvements.
- Lead or support project management activities from concept through implementation.
- Analyze production data and develop solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Promote Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Just-In-Time principles.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Manufacturing or Production Engineering experience.
- Experience with automation, robotics, tooling, or assembly processes.
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
