Job Description

Join Amaris Consulting as a Senior Software Developer and contribute to advanced autonomy software projects within multidisciplinary technology teams. In this role, the focus will be on designing, developing, and scaling production-quality software for autonomous systems, with a strong emphasis on perception, localization, planning, control, and platform capabilities.

Your Missions

  • Lead the design, development, and ownership of major autonomy software components across perception, localization, planning, control, and platform layers.
  • Define and influence software architecture for scalable, reliable, and maintainable autonomy systems.
  • Translate algorithmic concepts and research prototypes into production-grade, real-time software.
  • Establish coding standards, best practices, and design patterns within autonomy software teams.
  • Guide technical reviews, code reviews, and design documentation to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with robotics, controls, AI/ML, simulation, systems, and safety teams to deliver end-to-end autonomy capabilities.
  • Drive the integration of autonomy software with sensors, actuators, compute platforms, and vehicle networks such as CAN and Ethernet.
  • Lead debugging and root-cause analysis for complex issues observed in simulation, HIL, SIL, or field deployments.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on autonomy, robotics, or real-time systems.
  • Strong expertise in C++ and proficiency in Python.
  • Experience designing and maintaining large-scale, production software systems.
  • Deep understanding of Linux-based development, multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with distributed systems, middleware, robotics frameworks, ROS/ROS2, or similar systems.
  • Experience with perception systems such as LiDAR, camera, radar, or sensor fusion.
  • Familiarity with motion planning, control algorithms, state estimation, mapping, simulation, HIL, SIL, or synthetic data pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Robotics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • English fluent.
  • Strong technical communication, design documentation, code review, and collaboration skills in international, distributed teams.

  • An environment where trust has a central place: 70% of our key leaders started their careers at the first level of responsibilities.
  • A robust training system with our internal Academy and 250+ available modules.
  • A vibrant workplace that frequently gathers for internal events such as afterworks and team buildings.
  • The opportunity to contribute to advanced autonomy software projects with real-world applications.
  • Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, systems, simulation, and safety.
  • A role combining architecture, hands-on development, integration, and field-facing problem solving.
  • At Mantu, sustainability is part of everything we do. You’ll have the opportunity to turn your ideas into action and make a tangible impact. Every day, our teams bring our ESG commitments to life, from reducing our footprint to driving positive change within our communities.
