Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robotics software modules for perception, localization, planning, and control using ROS/ROS2
- Implement sensor fusion pipelines (camera, LiDAR, IMU, GPS) for robust state estimation and mapping (SLAM)
- Develop motion planning and trajectory optimization methods for safe navigation in dynamic environments
- Create simulation-first workflows using Gazebo/Isaac and scenario replay for regression testing
- Define metrics and evaluation protocols (latency, stability, collision rate, tracking error) and drive measurable performance improvements
- Integrate robotics stacks with CI/CD, logging, and on-robot diagnostics; investigate failures and deliver fixes
- Collaborate with product, QA, and safety stakeholders on requirements, acceptance tests, and deployment criteria
- Mid-Senior experience in robotics engineering, autonomy, or embedded software
- Strong C++ and Python skills; hands-on ROS/ROS2 architecture and tooling experience
- Knowledge of kinematics/dynamics, control systems (PID/MPC), and motion planning
- Experience with SLAM/localization and sensor fusion methods (EKF/UKF)
- Ability to debug distributed robotic systems using logs, bag files, telemetry, and profiling tools
