Our platform, Rocket, turns event, meeting, and group inquiries into autonomous end-to- end workflows: from RFP to signed contract, across email, CRM, and PMS systems. We integrate with the systems hotels actually run on — Oracle OPERA Cloud, SIHOT, Guestline, Salesforce, Marriott's enterprise stack — which means our engineers work inside real hotel operations, not against sandbox APIs.

We are a Series A-stage company with a deliberately small team and real enterprise traction: major hotel groups across Europe run their group sales on Rocket. The people joining now shape the product, the deployment playbook, and the culture.



The Role

QA Automation Engineers are how Rocket stays reliable at scale. You build the automation frameworks, testing infrastructure, and quality processes that allow Engineering to ship quickly without compromising stability.

This is an automation-first role focused on building quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. You work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure every feature, integration, and release is validated through automated testing before it reaches production.

What You Will Own


1. Test automation, end-to-end.

Own the strategy and implementation of automated testing across the platform. Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing, continuously increasing automated test coverage while ensuring tests remain reliable, maintainable, and efficient.

2. CI/CD quality engineering.

Build quality directly into the deployment pipeline by integrating automated testing throughout the CI/CD process. Establish quality gates, monitor test execution, improve developer feedback loops, and reduce release risk through continuous validation.

3. Platform quality and reliability.

Ensure the reliability of Rocket's distributed systems by validating APIs, integrations, backend services, and AI-powered workflows. Develop regression, smoke, and integration testing strategies while identifying quality risks early in the development lifecycle.

4. Engineering collaboration.

Partner closely with Engineering and Product throughout feature development. Promote testability, establish automation best practices, participate in technical design discussions, and help build a culture where quality is a shared engineering responsibility.

5. Continuous improvement.

Continuously evolve our quality engineering practices by introducing modern automation tools, improving testing processes, strengthening regression coverage, and driving automation-first thinking across the engineering organization.

Who You Are


Must-have

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or QA Automation
• Strong experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch
• Hands-on experience with API, integration, UI, and end-to-end test automation
• Strong programming or scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar)
• Experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles
• Experience testing distributed systems, REST APIs, and asynchronous workflows
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent English communication skills (B2–C1)

• Experience testing AI-powered or LLM-based applications
• Experience with performance or load testing tools
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
• Familiarity with contract testing and API mocking
• Experience working in high-growth product startups
• Knowledge of hospitality technology or enterprise SaaS platforms
