Senior Full Stack Engineer | WFH | Morning Shift

Platinum Outsourcing is one of Australia's fastest growing companies, we are a co sourcing BPO – operating out of both the Philippines and Indonesia. We are a fast growing scale-up, opening our first offices in the Philippines only 4.5 years ago, currently a global team of 250, we have plans to expand to 500+ employees over the next 3 years.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our client, a New Zealand HQ'd SaaS company that helps ANZ businesses move from admin to action by simplifying every aspect of mandatory carbon compliance and building optimisation management.

About the Role

1. Backend Architecture & API Development

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Optimize database performance through efficient Entity Framework Core mappings, index tuning, and complex SQL query optimization.
• Implement clean architecture practices, test-driven development (TDD), and robust error-handling frameworks.

2. Cloud Infrastructure & Serverless Orchestration

• Architect and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing AWS compute and storage patterns (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3).
• Implement event-driven patterns and asynchronous messaging queues using AWS SQS to ensure system decoupling and fault tolerance.
• Manage containerized application lifecycles using Docker within Amazon ECS

3. Frontend Architecture & User Experience

• Construct modular, dynamic, and reusable user interface components using ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Deliver highly responsive, pixel-perfect, and maintainable utility-first layouts using Tailwind CSS.
• Optimize frontend client-side rendering performance, state management workflows, and API payload consumption.

4. Engineering Excellence & Leadership

• Participate in rigorous peer code reviews to enforce architectural guidelines, security principles, and code cleanliness.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA automation teams, and platform architects to refine technical requirements and ship features rapidly.
• Write clear, maintainable system documentation and architectural diagrams.

About You

• 5+ years of active commercial experience shipping production-grade software applications using the .NET ecosystem and modern frontend frameworks.
• Deep understanding of the asynchronous programming paradigm in C#, dependency injection, and advanced Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) design patterns.
• Proven track record of configuring, monitoring, and debugging applications within an AWS ecosystem, specifically managing serverless (Lambda) and containerized (ECS) execution environments.
• Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React hooks, component lifecycles, and the Tailwind CSS styling ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, data normalization, transactional isolation levels, and performance profiling.
• A pragmatic problem-solver who prioritizes operational velocity, code durability, and cross-functional collaboration.
