Cybersecurity Specialist

Location: Makati National Capital Region (Manila) Philippines

SUMMARY

The Cybersecurity Specialistperforms mostprimary cybersecurity functions on the Security Team. These functions includereviewing and resolving standard cybersecurity-related tickets, alerts, andescalations from internal and external customers, conducting audits, andresponding to incidents.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve a variety of IT security-relatedservices related to:
  
• Email security.
  
• Active directory.
  
• Group policy.
  
• Firewall security.
  
• Cloud services security.
  
• Multi-factor authentication
  
• Implement security-related projects.
  
• Cybersecurity auditing andcompliance-related activities.
  
• Threat detection and response.
  
• Understand and configure encryptiontechnologies.
  
• Complete IT security maintenance tasks.
  
• Oversee the cybersecurity of our computingassets, including all laptops (including remote maintenance) and serverinfrastructure.
  
• Maintain Security Awareness Training andSecurity Risk Assessment platform.
  
• Other duties, as assigned.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree inCybersecurity or related technical discipline is preferred
  
• 3-5 years’ experiencein an IT-related field preferred.
  
• Security Certificationand Training are preferred.
  
• Must have strongdocumentation skills including the ability to document your work in real-time.
  
• Very strongcommunication skills.
  
• Strong networkingknowledge.
  
• Good understanding ofActive Directory and Group Policy.
  
• Strong analytical, andproblem-solving skills, and situational awareness.
  
• Experience configuringrouters/firewalls, related rules, and security services.
  
• Ability to prioritize,multi-task, stay organized, follow up, and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
  
• Polite, courteous,helpful, and friendly to customers and team members.
  
• Able to workcollaboratively with other teams.
  
• Self-motivated toincrease knowledge in the cybersecurity field through training, certifications,and research.
  
• Willing and able toobtain security certifications according to a training/education plan.
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Should be willing toaccept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
  
• Should be amenable toa permanent night shift schedule.
