(Senior) Engineer – Vehicle Drive Quality & Performance

For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a (Senior) Engineer – Vehicle Drive Quality &Performance

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual wo will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Job Description

• Develop vehicle drive quality and performance to satisfy the European customer requirements.
• Definition and implementation of EU specific vehicle drive quality and
• performance targets.
• Run detailed benchmark of competing models and brands in Europe
• Close collaboration with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective

Requirements:

• You have a Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or comparable background
• You have significant (>3 years) experience in a similar position for vehicle drive quality and performance (BEV,PHEV, ICE)
• You are able to balance vehicle & system targets to achieve regulatory compliance and a high level of customer acceptance.
• You have a good knowledge of PT test, application and simulation tools
• You are willing to travel and have a valid European driving license
• You are willing to work in an international and intercultural environment
• You have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude
• You are a good communicator with an open and structured mindset
• You have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
• You are fluent in English
• Mandarin skills advantageous
