Could you be the full-time System Architect in Bangkok we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in designing the ERTMS Driver Machine Interface, ensuring the software meets its functional, safety, and availability targets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with global teams across the business (such as System Designers, Engineering Managers, and System Application Architects), lead system design and specifications, and contribute to the overall quality of the signalling system delivered to our customers.
You’ll specifically take care of system design (conceptual design, integration of end-users, and ensuring design for testability, RAM, and safety), but also manage system specifications (including requirements writing and traceability).
We’ll look to you for:
- Being an active member of the program engineering team
- Applying processes, methods, and tools as outlined in program plans
- Supporting the Engineering Manager in identifying technical risks and defining development strategies
- Ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery of designs and specifications
- Leading and participating in technical reviews and decisions
- Interfacing with System Application Architects for project and tender activities
- Preparing program/project documents (e.g., training materials, user manuals)
- Participating in material selection and procurement activities
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting workload estimations for system design deliverables
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system métier (project or program)
- Comprehensive experience in HMI/DMI development
- Ability to work transversally with engineering teams
- Strong technical decision-making skills
- Expertise in System Engineering principles
- Knowledge of design for safety and RAM compliance
- Understanding of design for quality life cycle
- Proficiency in English communication
