Responsibilities include:
- Lead technical investigation and top-level design for new feature development and change requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead development of primary and secondary radar products which provide safety-critical surveillance throughout the world
- Develop and maintain specifications and technical documentation to support customer deliverables and internal systems engineering processes.
- Balance competing interests from multiple stakeholder groups
- Coordinate with product development management to ensure technical, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved while maintaining acceptable levels of risk.
- Develop and propose new technologies and capabilities to enhance product performance
- Support technical and cost proposal preparation for future programs.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant experience in safety-critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense/military, medical, nuclear, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form productive relationships within a team
- Demonstrated proficiency with electromechanical and/or embedded software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with requirements management, system design, and system integration
- Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
- Domestic and international travel may be required, typically less than 2 weeks per year.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience with RF systems, sensor data processing, position estimation, and/or tracking
- Experience with Eurocontrol, FAA, or other air traffic procedures, operations, and systems
- Experience with Linux in embedded and/or server systems
- Experience with RF systems, sensor data processing, position estimation, and/or tracking
- Experience with networked computer systems, cybersecurity, and/or system hardening
- Experience with MATLAB programming and data analysis skills
