Position Summary
As the Enterprise Engineering Manager, you're responsible for defining and executing the company's global engineering and automation strategy while leading the evaluation, development, and deployment of next-generation robotics, including humanoid technologies. The role bridges upstream technology scouting and proof-of-concept development with downstream industrial implementation to improve productivity, safety, quality, and operational resilience across global manufacturing operations (Philippines, Thaliand, UK)
What you'll do
- Develop the global engineering, automation, and robotics roadmap aligned with business strategy.
- Lead technology scouting and evaluate emerging robotics, AI, humanoid, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), machine vision, and digital manufacturing technologies.
- Drive upstream R&D, proof-of-concept (PoC), and pilot programs for humanoid and advanced robotic applications.
- Partner with robotics vendors, startups, universities, and research institutions to accelerate innovation.
- Define engineering standards, architecture, and governance for automation and robotics across global sites.
- Lead global capital projects involving robotics, AI, and smart manufacturing technologies.
- Identify manufacturing tasks suitable for humanoids, collaborative robots (cobots), and autonomous systems.
- Build digital twins and simulation models to validate robotics solutions before deployment.
- Oversee integration of robotics with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, IIoT, and AI platforms.
- Ensure compliance with global safety standards, cybersecurity requirements, and applicable regulations for robotic systems.
- Develop engineering talent in robotics, controls, AI, software, and systems integration.
- Measure and report value delivered through automation, including productivity, quality, cost savings, safety improvements, and return on investment.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15+ years of engineering leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or robotics.
- Experience with industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, humanoid platforms, machine vision, AI, PLCs, and control systems.
- Knowledge of ROS/ROS2, computer vision, reinforcement learning, digital twins, simulation, and Industry 4.0 technologies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading global cross-functional teams and managing strategic technology programs.
