Technical Lead

I am currently partnering directly with IT leadership at a college in Ohio to identify a Workday Technical Lead to steer their multi-year, flagship migration off Ellucian Banner.

They are looking for an elite, hands-on technical owner who can design complex integrations, map out the data migration pipeline, and confidently act as the trusted technical advisor to executive leadership

The Project & Opportunity

• The Mission: Act as the primary technical architect and lead for The colleges highly visible, multi-year transition from legacy Ellucian Banner to Workday
• The Scope: Own end-to-end technical leadership across custom Studio integrations, complex data conversions, security inheritance models, and reporting architecture
• The Team: Partner closely with internal functional leads, system administrators, and external implementation partners to upskill and prepare the internal team for post-go-live success.

What We Are Looking For

• Hands-on depth: Deep, practical expertise building with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and handling heavy legacy ERP data extractions (Banner/Oracle experience is a massive plus)
• True Ownership: A track record of making critical architectural decisions, troubleshooting complex partner-built solutions, and knowing the why behind your designs
• Executive Presence: The ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, strategic insights for university stakeholders, provosts, and project governance committees
