Product Owner – Cloud Security (KMS & Secrets Manager)

We are partnering with a major European tech division — the digital arm of one of the largest retail groups in the world — to find a Product Owner for two critical cloud security products.

This is not only a coordination role, the PO will have full ownership over vision, roadmap, and decisions of their product unit.

Key responsibilities

Product ownership

• Define and drive the product vision and strategy for KMS and Secrets Manager
• Collect and prioritize requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Own the roadmap end-to-end

Engineering collaboration

• Work closely with engineering teams to refine requirements, plan features and define releases
• Evaluate technical proposals with real criteria — not just facilitate
• Ensure product quality meets both customer expectations and internal standards

Execution & iteration

• Monitor product performance and analyze user feedback
• Iterate on capabilities based on data and stakeholder input
• Communicate strategy, progress and outcomes to leadership and external stakeholders

Profile we're looking for

• Several years in product management, ideally in cloud or security products
• Strong technical background: comfortable with cryptography concepts and able to evaluate engineering proposals
• Deep knowledge of cloud architectures
• Experience in IT security environments
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with a results-driven mindset
• Outstanding communication in English — it's the working language

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with KMS, Secrets Manager or similar tools (HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault…)
• Background in IAM or cloud infrastructure products
• Experience managing technical stakeholders across multiple geographies
