Jr. IAM Engineer
We are looking for a Jr. IAM Engineer to join our Cybersecurity and Identity team.
In this role, you will help protect access to systems, applications, and cloud services across a global organization. You will work with Identity and Access Management tools, support user-access processes, help resolve access-related issues, and contribute to projects that improve how we manage identities securely and efficiently.

What You Will Do
- Support daily Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations, including user lifecycle management, access requests, role maintenance, and identity-governance processes.
- Monitor the external SaaS provider supporting Identity Governance and Administration, including:
- Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes
- User lifecycle management
- Access recertification campaigns
- Segregation of Duties policies
- Help connect new systems, applications, and cloud services to IAM/IDM platforms as part of integration projects.
- Provide 3rd-level support for access-related tickets, incidents, and escalations through our global “Follow the Sun” support model.
- Act as an escalation point for internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders experiencing access-management issues.
- Support the maintenance of IAM policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with legal, regulatory, security, and business requirements.
- Help implement and maintain role-based and attribute-based access controls to support the principles of least privilege and need-to-know access.
- Support business teams with role maintenance and access lifecycle activities.
- Help improve authentication and authorization processes across KION users, systems, and services.
- Support access-monitoring, reporting, audit evidence collection, and security-control walkthroughs.
- Contribute to security-improvement initiatives and projects focused on strengthening access controls.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience or strong interest in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity, cloud security, or IT security operations.
- Understanding of access-management processes, user lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Experience supporting or implementing IAM platforms; experience with OMADA is a plus.
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and externally hosted vendor applications.
- Knowledge of cloud identity and authentication technologies within environments such as:
- Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
- AWS
- Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of identity lifecycle processes and access-management service delivery models.
- Interest in security risks, vulnerabilities, data breaches, and evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration tools.
- Exposure to access recertification, Segregation of Duties, or privileged-access management processes.
- Familiarity with IT service-management platforms and ticketing tools.
- Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SANS, or equivalent.
- Experience working in an international or global support environment.
