We’re hiring people who want to build the identity layer for the wallet era
Indexed description
We’re hiring at PassportReader.
Digital identity is changing.
For years, identity verification has mostly meant taking photos of documents, taking selfies, and asking humans or AI models to decide whether things “look real”.
But the future looks different.
Passports, national ID cards, eIDs, and digital wallets already contain government-signed identity data. The real challenge is making that data easy to access, verify, and use — across countries, devices, documents, wallets, and trust frameworks.
That is what we are building at PassportReader.
We build infrastructure for high-assurance identity verification using passports, ID cards, and digital wallets.
This means working on problems like:
• NFC reading of passports and national ID cards
• Cryptographic verification of government-issued identity data
• Mobile SDKs for iOS and Android
• APIs for developers and identity platforms
• EUDI wallet integrations
• Document capture, OCR, face matching, and liveness
• Infrastructure for regulated industries like fintech, KYC/AML, onboarding, fraud prevention, and age verification
We are still a small team, but we are already working with partners, enterprise customers, and interoperability initiatives across the digital identity ecosystem.
Now we are looking for people who want to help build this with us.
We are especially interested in speaking with:
• Senior Software Engineers
• Senior AI / Computer Vision Engineers
• Commercial people with experience selling into identity, fintech, regtech, KYC/AML, fraud, or onboarding
This is a good fit if you want to work on infrastructure where correctness, security, usability, and regulation all matter.
Identity verification is moving from images to credentials.
If that shift sounds interesting, come talk to us.
And if you know someone who should be part of this, please send them our way.
