The Opportunity:
We're looking to fill an opening for a Solution Architect to join the Application Development & Enterprise Platforms team.
Reporting to the Director, Technical Delivery and Architecture, the Solution Architect is responsible for developing and delivering technology architecture and design strategies and solutions that support organizational functions and fulfill business goals. This role will partner with business colleagues and solutioning teams to lead and drive the implementation of technology solutions incrementally towards the enterprise architectural goals.

- Lead ideation, exploration, and discovery during requirements gathering
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and financial industry solutions that could drive competitive advantages
- Design end-to-end solutions, including network and disaster recovery planning
- Deliver analysis, high-level solutions, application design, and default technology catalog and reference artifacts
- Support SDLC, intake process solutioning, and change management processes
- Drive standardization and adoption of architectural best practices and common patterns across integration, cloud adoption, and application modernization
- Manage application portfolio, including application rationalization, vendor consolidation, obsolescence management, risk mitigation, function automation, and optimization of user satisfaction and cost savings
- Develop enterprise architecture and business line architectural roadmaps of current and target states and socialize to gain endorsement
- Create action plans in alignment with enterprise architecture and strategy priorities
- Drive architecture council approval process for new technology adoption and implementation
- Act as a technical lead in project/product development utilizing agile methodologies and DevSecOps automation practices
- Act as a technology partner within Aviso by proactively building relationships with the business groups to ensure achievable and technologically sound solutions are implemented

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, clients, partners, and technical teams to define identity requirements, user personas, security controls, and target-state architectures.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive audiences.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale IAM modernization or customer identity transformation programs
- Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional/Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or government
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $150,000 - $168,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
