This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll work closely with customers, architects, and engineering teams to design and implement modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security solutions. You'll lead from the front—providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring exceptional delivery outcomes. Based on internal Lead Engineer position responsibilities and Security & Identity practice capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across customer engagements, guiding teams through architecture, design and delivery.
- Build secure, scalable, cloud-native identity platforms and integrations.
- Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, best practices and career development.
- Work closely with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to solution design workshops, technical roadmaps and delivery planning.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, CI/CD, testing and modern ways of working.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and take ownership of delivery outcomes from inception through to production.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them strengthen their security posture and identity maturity.
- Strong experience in both design and delivery with the Auth0 platform Proven experience designing and delivering Identity & Access Management solutions.
- Deep knowledge of authentication, authorisation and federation technologies.
- Experience implementing workforce and customer identity solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern identity standards including:
- SAML
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- SCIM
- FIDO2 / Passkeys
- Experience with one or more leading IAM platforms such as
- Ping Identity
- Okta
- SailPoint
- CyberArk
- Broadcom/CA Identity
- One Identity Additional experience with one or more of the following IAM platforms well regarded:
- Experience deploying and integrating identity solutions within AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Strong DevOps and automation mindset with experience using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
