What do we do?

The European HUB is the second VWFSAG IT hub, and the first outside Germany. Here we will establish a large Business & IT company of 120+ FTE. Our primary is to service all European markets in Implementing the contract management systems and maintaining it. Our focus is on: CMS systems, satellite systems (such as document management systems, collection systems) but also integrations, data, and large project organizations.


Objectives:

Responsible for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of cloud-based identity, authentication and integration services that support critical business applications across Volkswagen Financial Services.

This role involves working closely with international teams to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions while supporting the organization's cloud transformation journey.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, test and maintain cloud-based services and APIs
  • Develop authentication, authorization and integration solutions
  • Create technical specifications and solution designs
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, performance and maintainability
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Support CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Perform incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Provide 3rd level support for productive systems
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners and international stakeholders
  • Contribute to platform scalability, resilience and security
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the adoption of cloud-native development practices


We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or similar
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET technologies (.NET Framework and .NET Core)
  • Experience building REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts
  • Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized solutions is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of initiative, ownership and accountability
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
