As an Identity and Access Management Engineering Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive data by designing and implementing strategies that confirm secure and efficient access to systems for employees and clients. Within our Cybersecurity practice, you will focus on identifying vulnerabilities and developing proactive solutions to protect organizations from cyber threats. Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing secure identity and access management solutions to protect sensitive data
- Managing user identities and access rights using Azure Active Directory and CyberArk Management systems
- Developing strategies for authorization compliance and access control models to enhance security measures
- Collaborating with teams to identify vulnerabilities and provide proactive solutions for cybersecurity threats
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
- Navigating complex situations to anticipate the needs of clients and deliver quality solutions
- Building meaningful client connections and fostering relationships to support cybersecurity initiatives
- Upholding professional and technical standards in alignment with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting IAM platforms and identity services, including authentication, authorisation, SSO, MFA, federation, user lifecycle, privileged access, and identity governance capabilities.
- Supporting integration and testing of IAM solutions across applications, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms, while troubleshooting identity flows using standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, and REST APIs.
- Providing L3 operational and engineering support through incident resolution, root cause analysis, automation, CI/CD, documentation, and collaboration with client teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- 6+ years of experience in IAM, access management, cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, platform administration, software engineering, or related technical support roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of IAM capabilities such as authentication, authorisation, SSO, MFA, federation, privileged access, identity governance, user lifecycle, and modern identity standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JWT, and REST APIs.
- Proven troubleshooting, operational support, and communication skills, with experience using diagnostic tools, managing incidents and changes, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to identity governance and access management, including CISSP, CIAM, Microsoft Identity, SailPoint, or equivalent IAM credentials
- Utilizing Azure Active Directory for identity management solutions
- Implementing CyberArk Management for privileged access security
- Developing strategies for IT Risk Management and governance
- Navigating complex cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies
- Excelling in analytical thinking and problem-solving within cybersecurity contexts
- Experience with at least one leading IAM, cloud identity, security, or enterprise technology platform such as Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in key IAM domains including access management, CIAM, workforce identity, privileged access management, identity governance, API security, and fine-grained or policy-based access control.
- Knowledge of advanced identity and security patterns, including entitlement-based access, consent and delegated administration, and advanced OAuth/OIDC flows such as private key JWT, mTLS, token exchange, FAPI, CIBA, and device flows.
