Job Summary
What will your job look like:
The Associate IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and IT-related issues within Veradigm. This role handles escalated service requests and incidents across multiple technology domains, ensuring timely resolution and excellent user experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with IT engineering teams, managing IT equipment lifecycle, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve cases escalated from the Service Desk independently and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues, collect diagnostic data, and escalate major incidents to engineering teams as needed.
- Follow established runbooks and case-handling procedures.
- Monitor system alerts proactively and notify stakeholders of outages.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge articles and runbooks.
- Assist with imaging, inventory management, distribution, and recovery of IT equipment.
- Provide on-site “hot-hands” support for IT engineering teams.
- Coordinate with vendors for PC and accessory shipments.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for PCs, accessories, and printer consumables.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
- A+ or N+ Fundamentals
- CCNA / Microsoft Windows 11 Certification Preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office suite.
- Solid understanding of PC components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking principles and case management systems.
- Basic familiarity with Mac OS, Linux, and cybersecurity practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback constructively.
- Standard workweek with rotating multi-shift schedules, including night shifts.
- Mandatory on-site work at designated offices.
- Remote work is not applicable for this role.
