Description

We are looking for a jr. Software Developer with experience in low-level development (drivers, Linux kernel, Python) to join our RD Software Development team in Brazil and meet the development needs of both local teams and business units outside of Brazil.

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively (at least in writing) with development and technical teams worldwide in English.
• Strong communication skills, including knowledge sharing (mentoring)
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Required Technical Requirements

• Strong programming skills
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for automation
• Developer-level experience with Linux (compiling, analyzing kernel logs, debugging device drivers)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with agile software development processes: Scrum/Kanban

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with digital circuits
• Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi (GPIO)
• Experience with kernel debugging
• Intermediate English

Experience

• Experience in agile development;
• Experience and ability to apply best practices in the software engineering lifecycle;
• Experience with Git
