We are supporting a specialist engineering company focused on high-end camera integration and industrial inspection systems used in advanced manufacturing environments.
They are now looking to strengthen their team with a Computer Vision Engineer.
This role is also very open to recent Master’s graduates, particularly those with strong exposure to computer vision, image processing, or embedded/software engineering projects.
It can be an excellent first professional step into industry for someone looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world, hands-on environment.
Role Overview:
You will work on the development, optimisation, and deployment of computer vision systems used for inspection and quality control.
The role combines software development with real-world system debugging and occasional on-site support at client facilities.
Some travel is required (fully expensed), mainly for system installation, debugging, and supporting vision machinery in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain computer vision algorithms for industrial inspection systems
- Work with real-time image processing pipelines using C++ and OpenCV
- Support integration of vision systems with hardware and industrial machinery
- Troubleshoot and optimise systems both in-house and at client sites
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system design and deployment
Tech Stack / Requirements:
- Strong C++ programming skills (essential)
- Experience or academic exposure to OpenCV or similar vision libraries
- Understanding of computer vision fundamentals (image processing, feature detection, etc.)
- Electronics or hardware awareness is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working in a hands-on engineering environment
Profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Interest in applied computer vision and real-world industrial systems
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to work on-site when needed
- Fluent English required
- Dutch or French is required
