Software Engineer — Rockhaven Homes

Atlanta, GA (in-office) | $90,000–$110,000/year

We're hiring a Software Engineer to join our small technical team, reporting directly to the CTO.

Rockhaven Homes builds vibrant communities of single-family homes and townhomes across metro Atlanta. Our tech team is small, fast-moving, and builds the internal software that runs the business.

What you'll work on

You'll build internal applications, data tools, automation workflows, and AI-enabled business apps used by departments across the company. Some work is greenfield. Some is improving and extending what already exists.

Rough breakdown:

▸ 50% internal application development and business tools

▸ 25% automation, integrations, APIs, and data workflows

▸ 15% maintenance, bug fixes, and production support

▸ 10% documentation, cleanup, and development standards

Our stack

Python | MySQL | Claude Code | MarkSystems | HubSpot | Microsoft 365 | Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)

What we're looking for

▸ 1–4 years in software development or a similar technical role. Strong early-career candidates will be considered.

▸ Strong fundamentals in a modern language. Python preferred.

▸ Comfort with SQL, APIs, integrations, and data-driven applications

▸ Experience building or maintaining web apps, dashboards, internal tools, or automation workflows

▸ Ability to debug and improve code you didn't write

▸ Familiarity with Git-based development and code review

▸ Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders

▸ Interest in using AI-assisted coding tools while owning quality, testing, and correctness

Nice to have

▸ Streamlit, FastAPI, Flask, Django, or React

▸ Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Power Automate

▸ Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID

▸ Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into applications

▸ Scheduled jobs, ETL-style workflows, operational reporting

▸ Background in construction, real estate, manufacturing, ERP, or CRM systems
