Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with software engineers to identify code defects and regressions
- Validate application functionality by implementing test strategies, automation frameworks, tools, and dashboards
- Participate in planning and documenting basic test strategies and acceptance criteria based on customer needs
- Participate in test execution for new builds and regression testing, analyze reports, and troubleshoot and investigate failures
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve basic issues, document defects, and create and manage bug reports
- Continuously identify opportunities to innovate and improve the testing process to drive efficiency
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., copilots and automation frameworks) to design, build, and optimize scalable software and platform solutions
- Collaborate on the design and integration of AI-enabled systems, ensuring performance, security, and alignment with business requirements
- Review, validate, and enhance AI-generated code and solutions, identifying risks, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to platform engineering practices, including cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and the automation of development workflows

- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience using code repositories and tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Experience with mocks and stubs, as well as building virtualized assets using service virtualization tools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
- Experience working in an Agile environment with engineering scrum teams
- Experience with continuous integration, testing, delivery, and deployment, as well as SecDevOps culture, tools, and implementation
