Associate/Exp Associate – Guidewire Full Stack Developer

These individuals analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organizations.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Support sprint planning and collaborating with other teams from different locations and clients.
• Analyze and clarify client requirements
• Review estimates and suggest updates.
• Complete design and develop accordingly in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Perform design and code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices
• Support testing activities and respond to client queries
• Communicate effectively with the other team members

Must-have skillsets:

• Backend: Core Java and Object-Oriented Design
• Front End: JavaScript, ReactJS, Typescript.
• Good written and oral English communication.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology.
• Ability to leverage AI technologies for rapid acquisition of new knowledge

Good-to-have skillsets:

• Knowledge of Apache Camel and NPM.
• Backend: Edge, cloud APIs, or exposure to any Guidewire Insurance Suite products (Billing Center, ClaimCenter, Policy Center).
• Frontend: Guidewire Jutro Digital Portal (JDP), ReactNative.
• Insurance domain knowledge.

Minimum requirements/Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology
• 0~2 years of relevant experience in Full Stack Software Development/Engineering.
