YOUR NEW ROLE CODE LEAPWe are looking for an experienced Junior Backend Engineer (.NET + Azure) to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is perfect for team players with a strong interest in developing their international career - not just as a coder, but as a product builder.
YOUR EXCITING TASKS
- Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs following established team standards
- Support implementation of monitoring and logging using tools such as Sentry, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Application Insights
- Assist in implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Write and maintain unit tests, and support integration testing efforts
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, and BA/PO to clarify requirements and deliver features
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality
- Support performance optimization and bug fixing
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Continuously learn and improve technical skills under guidance from senior engineers
- 1–3 years of experience in C# and .NET development (internship experience counted)
- Basic to solid understanding of RESTful API development
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and basic knowledge of NoSQL
- Experience writing unit tests (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
- Hands-on experience with reading and understanding technical documents
- You understand and know how to prioritize your tasks with a problem-solving mindset
- You don't take things personally and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development
- You don't wait for others to tell you what you need to do, but proactively reach out to people, communicate, ask for help, and get things done
- Proficiency in communicating in English
- Familiarity with front-end deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, and automated release tools like semantic-release or change sets
