Position: Junior Software Developer Location: Cary, Illinois

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle while working alongside experienced developers. You'll contribute to business-critical applications while helping the organization adopt Generative and Agentic AI technologies.

About the Role and Your Impact

• Develop and maintain business applications that integrate with third-party systems
• Support existing applications and participate in new development projects
• Assist with data conversions during system upgrades
• Provide technical support to technical and non-technical users
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Support AI-assisted software development initiatives
• Review AI-generated code and recommend improvements
• Maintain source code using version control
• Test applications and coordinate with Cybersecurity
• Evaluate emerging Generative and Agentic AI tools

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience or coursework with ASP.NET MVC
• Familiarity with C#, Java, or Python
• Basic SQL and relational database knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SSRS
• Familiarity with CMS
• Exposure to IIS
• Interest in enterprise or manufacturing systems
• Curiosity about Generative and Agentic AI
