Job Title: Associate Backend Engineer – dbFlow (Service Solution & AI and Services Tribe)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Associate Backend Engineer to join our dbFlow team within the Service Solution & AI and Services Tribe. You will be part of a dynamic engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core application modules for the dbFlow platform, a critical component of our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend application modules using Java, Spring Boot, Camunda, and Oracle databases.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
• Work closely with senior engineers and gain exposure to enterprise-scale application development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of Core Java concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Git Stash/Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BPM platforms, preferably Camunda.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, or Grunt.
• Advanced SQL and database design knowledge.
• Experience with OpenShift, Helm, Kubernetes, or container orchestration technologies.
