What will you do?
- Work with system owners to develop and maintain LabWare LIMS as a usable system within the systems development life cycle (SDLC) framework.
- Develop, test, and maintain LIMS databases, user interfaces, and internal/external reports using LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, SQL, Crystal Reports, and related languages and tools.
- Develop, test, and maintain middleware interfaces among the CTI LIMS system and instrumentation in all CTI laboratory locations.
- Utilize LIMS internal and external utilities to investigate, debug, and correct individual, procedural, and systemic errors or faults.
- Work with and support IT staff to create and implement best practices for processes and systems.
- Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain appropriate project documentation.
- Participate in system validation activities as needed.
- Perform, track, and manage related project work as assigned in DevOps and other work tracking systems.
- Identify areas for improvement and provides detailed recommendations to IT leadership.
- Adhere to requirements of 21 CFR Part 11, CAP, and CLIA where applicable
What will you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2 years industry experience in related field
- Experience with programming languages such as LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, Remisol, SQL, Crystal Reports and pgAdmin
