Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications utilizing modern software engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers within an Agile/SAFe framework.

• Translate requirements into functional software solutions in partnership with systems engineering and program teams.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation processes.

• Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.

• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree.

• Demonstrated experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, or similar on a Linux-based system).

• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.
