Contract (1 Year + Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $25-30 an hour on W2 (DOE)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Publications / Content Distribution Associate to support the planning, development, publication, and distribution of technical content and web-based materials. This role involves maintaining and developing websites, supporting technical publication processes, and coordinating document distribution activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong web development skills, the ability to work independently, and experience maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites across desktop and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multiple websites for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Create new web pages and applications using HTML, CSS, and PHP.
• Perform ongoing website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Support technical publication and content distribution activities.
• Coordinate document updates, revisions, and publication workflows.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure website accuracy and usability.
• Complete special web development and content-related projects as assigned.
• Optimize large data tables and content for mobile accessibility and user experience.
• Manage source code and version control using GitHub.
• Support publication processes including review cycles and final web publication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in web development technologies
• Website maintenance and support experience
• Strong independent work and time management skills

• HTML
• CSS
• PHP (including PHP includes)
• Bootstrap 5 and/or other responsive web frameworks
• GitHub / version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with JavaScript and ReactJS
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Experience with web crawlers
• Basic database knowledge

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
