A Day in the Life:
- Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming tasks.
- Design, code, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and consistency.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform analysis, and implement software enhancements.
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with team members and actively participate in knowledge‑sharing activities.
- Incorporate feedback from senior team members to improve technical performance.
- Develop technical skills through training and on‑the‑job learning.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field ((completed or currently in progress; undergraduates welcome), with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or technical problem‑solving.
- 2–3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using Node.js.
- Professional experience with at least one frontend framework: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience building web applications and working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience reading and interpreting UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
- Experience applying common software design patterns.
- Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Experience using Git for code versioning and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience creating unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
- Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON and YAML.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience using one or more of the following tools: Swagger, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Experience using quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.
- Experience with SOAP‑based web services.
- Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience identifying and mitigating common web application security vulnerabilities.
