Join Pitney Bowes as Associate Software Engineer

Impact

As Software Engineer you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings. You will be deeply involved in leading the design/development of the SaaS based offering including collaborating across the organization with Architects, UX experts, product managers and other software developers. You will use your expertise in building highly scalable cloud solutions in an agile setting. You are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. The Job

• Ownership of Design and development of highly scalable, highly available, and performance-optimized cloud applications
• Constantly drive innovations in the platforms and products
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Improve engineering standards, code reviews, and build necessary tooling
• Mentor & guide the junior developers in the team

Qualifications & Skills Required

Must Have

• Experience should be in Golang
• At least 2 Years of experience in Design/Development in Microservices based architecture, REST APIs, Open-Source libraries, and frameworks.
• Understanding on designing DB models and schema experience with NoSQL DB like MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Good team player.
• Strong in troubleshooting, unit test and debugging skills
• Exposure to IOT domain
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Having the knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 16 and NodeJS is a plus.
• Great attention to details and Organizational skills

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
