Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead who will actively design, code, and deploy AI-powered healthcare applications while guiding a team of developers. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable, and impactful solutions.
Responsibilities For The Lead Software Engineer
- Lead design and development of features within .NET-based healthcare applications
- Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native, microservices-based systems ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
- Guide the team on where and how AI can be applied pragmatically to existing workflows
- Architect and implement AI/ML capabilities, including agent-based or workflow-driven AI integrated into .NET applications
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve developer productivity and code quality
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to shape requirements, refine technical specifications, and assess feasibility
- Contribute to architectural discussions, ensuring software solutions align with best practices and long-term system sustainability
- Independently take ownership of projects, proactively identifying potential risks and driving solutions to completion
- Mentor and support lower-level developers, provide code reviews, share best practices, and offer guidance when needed
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership or architect role.
- Exposure to AI agents, orchestration, or workflow driven AI patterns.
- Demonstrate experience on building, deploying, and operating AI inference pipelines that integrate trained models.
- Strong architectural and design understanding, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
- Deep expertise in .NET technologies, including .NET Core, C# and SaaS application development
- Experience working with large datasets, SQL, and data pipelines.
- Expertise in designing, consuming, and integrating APIs and web services, including RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, taking responsibility for projects and ensuring successful outcomes
- Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS, including knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices
- Experience with front-end technologies, including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React
- Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and reporting standards, preferred
- AI or cloud AI certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Anthropic) demonstrating practical experience with AI platforms, LLMs, or AI‑assisted development.
- Experience or certification with AI‑assisted development tools such:
- Managed LLM platforms (e.g., AWS Bedrock)
- Model training or fine‑tuning pipelines (e.g., Amazon SageMaker)
- Prior experience in EHR, behavioral health, or healthcare SaaS.
- Familiarity with FHIR / HL7 integrations.
