About The Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Applied Engineering team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for a developer with 2-4 years of experience who is passionate about building scalable web applications using Microsoft technologies and modern development practices.

You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to develop high-quality software solutions, contribute to innovation initiatives, and leverage emerging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and application quality.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET Core, Angular, and Web APIs.
  • Build robust, scalable, and maintainable software following industry best practices.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Support CI/CD processes using TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Utilize AI coding assistants and development productivity tools to improve efficiency and code quality.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software engineering best practices.

We’re Excited To Learn More About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • C#
    • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
    • Angular
    • RESTful Web APIs
    • SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
  • Experience working with source control systems and Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Cloud Technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience working with AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of cloud-native applications, microservices, and modern software architectures.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and automation practices.
