Senior C# .NET Developer - Porto

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior C# .NET Developer specialized in Windows Desktop development to join a robust engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance desktop applications while working in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Desktop Development: Design, develop, and optimize scalable, reliable, and secure Windows Desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in and champion all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospectives), contributing to continuous process improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable code and implement comprehensive testing strategies using Unit Test Frameworks to ensure product stability.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps processes, supporting CI/CD pipelines and software deployment practices.
• International Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and international teams, including occasional travel to Germany for alignment and strategic workshops.

Technical Skills & Focus:

• 5+ years of experience in backend/desktop software engineering, with strong expertise in C# and .NET
• Deep, proven experience in building and architecting Windows Desktop applications
• Solid experience with Unit Testing Frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tooling
• Full familiarity and hands-on experience working under Scrum/Agile frameworks

Location & Availability:

• Hybrid Work Model: Ability to work on-site 3 days a week in Azurara (Greater Porto area)
• Travel: Full availability for occasional business trips to Germany

Languages:

• English: Fluent/C1 level (mandatory for daily international communication)
• Portuguese: Native or professional proficiency
