What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in software engineering using C# .NET
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with frameworks such as WPF, WinForms, and tools like Visual Studio
• Exposure to microservices and containerisation practices is advantageous
• Interest or experience in DevSecOps, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Secure by Design principles
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent collaboration skills and a growth mindset, eager to learn and share ideas

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and related certifications
• Knowledge of additional frameworks or languages related to modern enterprise development

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in defence or high-security environments is desirable but not essential

Additional Requirements:

• Pre-employment screening in line with UK Government's BPSS standards
• Potential for National Security Vetting (NSV), including Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV)
• Willingness to adapt and thrive in a hybrid working model combining office and remote work
