CRM Developer (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
About the Role
As a CRM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring and supporting solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing technical solutions that improve business processes and enhance customer engagement.
You will develop custom functionality, configure Dynamics 365 modules, build integrations with enterprise systems, and support data migration activities. The role also involves testing, troubleshooting, maintaining technical documentation, and providing ongoing support to ensure the reliability and performance of the CRM environment.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to leverage Microsoft technologies, automation and best practices while ensuring solutions comply with security and data protection standards.
Requirements
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
- Proven experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Field Service.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataflows.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience developing custom plugins, workflows and integrations.
- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, REST APIs, SOAP and OAuth.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and data migration tools such as SSIS.
- Understanding of Dynamics 365 security, authentication and authorisation best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders while managing priorities independently.
- Experience with Azure services including Logic Apps, Functions and Service Bus.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Microsoft services such as SharePoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Jira or Freshservice.
- Exposure to AI technologies, including Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot or Virtual Agents.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of five years' experience in CRM development or a related technical role.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (such as Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, PL-400 or PL-600) are essential
Occasional travel may be required to support stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering and project delivery across business locations.
