Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance software applications and AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while participating in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Integrate pre-trained machine learning models and Generative AI APIs into existing applications to build intelligent features, chatbot interfaces, and automations
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate testing, and drive continuous improvement
- Set up, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and software delivery processes
- Evaluate emerging tech and AI trends to inform software design, architecture, and strategic team innovation
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level software engineers to maintain design standards and high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate closely with product managers, system architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical specifications
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with backend programming languages (such as Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or C++)
- 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 3+ years of experience with automated testing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- 1+ years of experience building applications that integrate machine learning APIs, cognitive services, or generative AI models
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience working with vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks
- Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, and fairness in software integration
- Experience building intelligent automation workflows, chat systems, or virtual assistant features
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
