Mid Full Stack Engineer (.NET + React + Generative AI)

About the Role

We're building a new AI Product Engineering team in Mexico and are looking for engineers who want to help shape the future of AI-powered software development.

This is not a traditional software engineering role.

We're looking for engineers who use AI as part of their daily development workflow—not only to generate code, but also to analyze business problems, create technical specifications, orchestrate AI tools, validate AI-generated code, and deliver production-ready software.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Tech Leads to transform business requirements into scalable AI-powered applications used by enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

AI-First Software Development

• Build modern full-stack applications using ASP.NET Core (.NET) and React + TypeScript.
• Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar as part of your daily development workflow.
• Transform business requirements into technical specifications before implementation.
• Break down features into implementation tasks and AI-assisted development plans.
• Review, validate and improve AI-generated code to ensure quality, security and maintainability.
• Deliver production-ready software focused on scalability and business value.

Generative AI Engineering

• Integrate Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini or similar Large Language Models into production applications.
• Develop AI-powered features including:
• Conversational Assistants
• AI Agents
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Intelligent Search
• Recommendation Engines
• Workflow Automation
• Build retrieval pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
• Design, evaluate and optimize prompts for production environments.
• Improve AI performance through testing, evaluation and prompt iteration.

Product Engineering

• Collaborate directly with Product Managers and business stakeholders.
• Convert ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
• Own features from discovery through production.
• Balance technical quality, business value and delivery speed.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision making.

Cloud & Delivery

• Deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with distributed teams across US and Mexico.

Required Qualifications

• 3–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications using ASP.NET Core (.NET).
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models into production applications.
• Experience integrating Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or similar using SDKs or APIs.
• Daily experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Experience developing production AI-powered software.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• SQL, Git and Agile development experience.
• Azure experience including deployments or CI/CD.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Based in Mexico and available during US business hours.
