The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Systems Analyst & Developer professional for this full-time ongoing opportunity who will:
- Design, develop and maintain internal software applications and business systems.
- Build AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation technologies.
- Develop operational, financial and performance reports using SQL, Power BI and reporting platforms.
- Build dashboards that provide meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
- Analyse, validate and manage data across multiple business systems.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
- Provide first-line IT support to internal staff, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
- Configure user accounts, computers and business applications.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, data migrations and technology projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and promote secure development practices.
- Work collaboratively across departments to deliver practical technology solutions.
- Experience in software development, systems analysis, reporting or business intelligence.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience developing applications using one or more of the following:
- C#
- Python
- Java
- JavaScript
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and security.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to support users across the organisation.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline (desirable).
- Experience working with AI technologies, automation or Large Language Models (desirable).
