.NET Software Engineer | Senior

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a technology team in the financial services and corporate solutions sector. The role focuses on developing new product features, improving existing functionality and supporting the delivery of secure, scalable and high-quality digital platforms, with a hybrid work model based in Porto, Portugal.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Develop new features for a business-critical digital platform.

- Implement search and subscription-related functionality aligned with the product roadmap.

- Fix software defects and support continuous improvement of existing applications.

- Develop unit tests for all delivered features and changes.

- Produce complete technical documentation for implemented solutions.

- Build and maintain backend solutions using .NET, .NET Core, C# and ASP.NET.

- Work with cloud services in AWS or Azure environments.

- Contribute to microservices-based solutions using appropriate design patterns.

- Use Docker and Kubernetes to support containerised application delivery.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure quality, reliability and maintainability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET software development.

- Strong practical experience with .NET Core, C# and ASP.NET.

- Experience working with cloud-based application environments.

- Ability to develop features end-to-end with autonomy and accountability.

- Strong focus on software quality, testing and technical documentation.

- Professional working proficiency in English at B2 level or above.

- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented approach.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 14 000 - EUR 36 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 43 000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
