Lead Java Developer

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent professional experience
• Azure or AWS certification with extensive hands-on experience
• Proven experience in leading technical teams, setting architectural direction, and guiding delivery
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• In-depth expertise in Java and modern development frameworks, especially Spring Boot
• Strong scripting skills across multiple languages (a plus)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Azure services (Web Apps, Service Bus, CosmosDB, SQL, Data Factory, VNets, Storage Accounts, API Management, KeyVaults, Policies)

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead architectural decisions and define best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Deliver expert-level Java development for backend services within a microservices architecture
• Configure, optimize, and fine-tune Java-based applications for peak performance and efficiency
• Implement cloud security management and DevOps best practices
• Evaluate and integrate emerging platform features to strengthen system performance and capabilities
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to maintain system health
• Mentor, coach, and guide junior developers, helping them grow their technical expertise and confidence
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across the full development lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic goals
