Role Description

• This is a role for an SAP Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in SAP BTP, SAP CAPM, Node.js, CDS, OData services, SAP UI5/Fiori, and cloud application development.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both backend and frontend development. The role involves building SAP BTP applications, developing backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, creating CDS models, exposing OData APIs, designing UI5/Fiori applications, integrating with SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems, and supporting deployment on SAP BTP.
• German language skills are nice to have, but not mandatory.
• This role is suitable for someone who wants to grow as a strong SAP BTP Full Stack Developer and work on real enterprise SAP cloud, integration, and application development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BTP full-stack applications.
• Build backend services using SAP CAPM, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Create CDS models, entities, services, projections, annotations, and CAP event handlers.
• Develop and expose OData services and REST APIs using SAP CAPM.
• Build frontend applications using SAP UI5, Fiori Elements, HTML5, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
• Integrate SAP CAPM applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Work with SAP Business Application Studio for development, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy SAP CAPM and UI5/Fiori applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment.
• Work with SAP BTP services such as destinations, connectivity, XSUAA, roles, scopes, and authentication.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, integration developers, architects, and business teams.
• Support technical documentation, API documentation, deployment notes, and development guidelines.
• Participate in client discussions, requirement understanding, solution design, and technical implementation.
• Stay updated with SAP BTP, SAP CAPM, UI5/Fiori, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP AI innovations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP BTP full-stack application development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CAPM, Node.js, JavaScript, CDS, OData services, and REST APIs.
• Experience developing SAP UI5/Fiori applications or Fiori Elements-based applications.
• Experience working with SAP Business Application Studio.
• Understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry deployment and cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration, OData services, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of SAP BTP security concepts such as XSUAA, destinations, roles, scopes, authentication, and authorization.
• Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• German language skills are nice to have, but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing full-stack SAP applications on SAP BTP.
• Experience integrating SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP systems.
• Experience working with SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, or SAP Cloud Integration.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, HDI containers, database modeling, or persistence layer development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Postman, API testing tools, or DevOps practices.
• Experience with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP AI Core, SAP Joule, or AI-enabled SAP use cases will be an added advantage.
• Experience working on client-facing SAP implementation, integration, or application development projects.
• German language skills or experience working with German/European clients will be preferred but not required.
