Software Engineer (DV Cleared) | Defence | Remote with Occasional Onsite
DV Clearance Required | Competitive Package
If you're a DV-cleared software engineer looking to work on projects that genuinely matter, not just push code into production pipelines, this is worth your attention.
I’m currently partnering with a high-performing technical consultancy delivering advanced software and data solutions into UK defence and secure environments. Backed by a globally recognised consultancy and a leading investment firm, they operate on complex, high-impact programmes where quality and precision are non-negotiable.
The Role
You’ll work closely with client teams on secure programmes, taking real ownership from design through to delivery. This isn’t a siloed engineering role, you’ll be involved in problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and shaping solutions that have tangible outcomes.
The Setup
Primarily remote, with occasional onsite presence required for secure work. Flexibility is built in, but the nature of the projects means some in-person collaboration is essential.
The Culture
Fast-moving, intellectually curious, and delivery-focused. You’ll be surrounded by people who take ownership, challenge thinking, and continuously push to improve.
What You’ll Need
- Active DV clearance (essential)
- Strong experience in one or more of: Java, C#/.NET, Python, or Rust
- Background in secure, scalable, or mission-critical systems is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Why Consider It
- Direct contribution to UK national security programmes
- High-trust environment with real ownership from day one
- Work on complex, secure systems at scale
If you’re DV-cleared and open to a role that combines flexibility with genuinely meaningful work, feel free to reach out or apply directly.
