THE WORK

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 3 Software Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or King of Prussia, PA location(s).

Our portfolio powers diverse, mission-critical products, each with its own unique technical DNA. To support this, we are growing our Software Engineering Talent Center—an organization of versatile engineers who thrive on solving complex challenges across the entire stack.

We don’t just "write code"; we engineer the automated frameworks, high-performance engines, and scalable infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes) that ensure our entire portfolio is mission-ready.

We prioritize the Engineer over the syntax. Because our product teams utilize a wide array of tools—ranging from high-performance C++ to agile Python, Java, and C# microservices—we have the unique ability to match you with a team that fits both your technical mastery, interests, and your cultural style.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that solve complex logical and mathematical problems for our mission applications.
• Drive the mission forward using Agile methodologies, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure rapid, iterative delivery.
• Utilize modern Configuration Management practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code is versioned, reproducible, and deployable.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for system architectures, API designs, and operating instructions to ensure long-term system sustainability.

This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
