About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (C#) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, contribute to system architecture, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using C#)
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Participate in software architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and modern version control practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests.
