Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for the development of critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This role will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, this role will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use groundbreaking technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily and will be relied upon to help take the team to the next level from a technological standpoint.

  • Manages and participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design using Agile methodologies
  • Serve as technical expert on development projects. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Manages and participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Driving decisions and collaborating with other stakeholders to determine how features and projects should be implemented.
  • Collaborate & lead tech teams consisting of employees & vendor company contractors in planning and execution, serving as an technology leader
  • Collaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software applications
  • Experience implementing AWS technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, route53, Dynamo DB, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design Patterns
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application Development
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Airlines industry experience is a plus
  • Master's degree in Computer Science
  • AWS or other Cloud Certifications
  • Hands-on development and proficient excellence in backend API development using Node.js Java and Python
  • Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tool such as Git, Python/Bash/PowerShell Scripting
  • Familiarity with agile principles and means of achieving outcomes, and a willingness to work with agile coaches / scrum masters
  • Angular, Node.JS
  • Monitoring Software: Data Dog, DynaTrace, Kibana

The base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
