Senior Omniverse Engineer

You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and industry experts across automotive, manufacturing, energy, and emerging tech domains—helping turn science fiction into real-world industrial solutions using NVIDIA Omniverse and adjacent technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital twin, industrial metaverse, and real-time simulation solutions using the NVIDIA Omniverse Platform
- Drive the end-to-end solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architectural analysis to implementation planning
- Provide technical leadership by guiding architectural decisions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts across industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and energy
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate technical risks and challenges throughout project delivery
- Evaluate and experiment with emerging technologies, assessing their impact on current and future client solutions
- Work alongside advanced technology teams in Robotics, Digital Twin, GenAI, IoT, AI/ML, AR/VR, and R&D
- Develop proofs of concept, feasibility studies, and research prototypes validating new technological approaches
- Support business development activities, including technical presentations, workshops, marketing initiatives, and pre-sales engagements
- Deliver and coordinate external presentations at conferences, meetups, and specialized industry events
- Proactively propose and adopt new technologies, tools, and trends, aligning innovation with business and market needs
- Experience with the NVIDIA Omniverse platform or other digital twin solutions such as Bentley Systems, Tecnomatix, or Esri
- Strong programming skills in Python with 5+ years of commercial experience, or C++ (Unreal Engine or Godot), or C# (Unity), or JavaScript (React and Omniverse WebRTC streaming library)
- Hands-on experience with computer graphics, including Pixar USD and MDL, as well as rendering, 3D tools, and performance optimization for 3D applications
- Familiarity with CAD, BIM, AEC, and geospatial data
- Solid understanding of fundamental animation approaches and simulation concepts
- Experience in one or more domains, including 3D applications, real-time graphics, or simulation and optimization systems
- Knowledge of 3D game engine architecture, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot
- Comfort working in R&D environments or experimental and prototyping-driven teams
- Experience or exposure to advanced technologies such as PhysX, CUDA, HPC, Isaac Sim, Drive Sim, or synthetic data generation
- Understanding of Big Data, IoT, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Generative AI concepts
- Experience with discrete event simulation tools such as SimPy, FlexSim, AnyLogic, Matlab, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience in technical leadership, workshops, pre-sales activities, or roadmap ownership
