We're partnering with an innovative SaaS company transforming the way organisations detect and prevent fraud through cutting-edge technology and AI. They're looking for a Lead FS Engineer to take ownership of a high-performance platform, leading a talented engineering team while driving the technical roadmap for a scalable, cloud-native product.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine strong engineering capability with technical direction, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across a globally distributed team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the technical direction and delivery of a modern cloud-based SaaS platform
• Mentor and support a high-performing full-stack engineering team
• Design and build scalable backend services using Golang, alongside frontend applications in React and TypeScript
• Drive platform performance, scalability, reliability, and security
• Develop configurable, multi-tenant platform capabilities for diverse client needs
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate intelligent features into the platform
• Manage PostgreSQL performance, optimisation, and complex SQL development
• Promote engineering best practices across code quality, testing, and documentation
• Work closely with distributed teams across multiple regions

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years’ software engineering experience
• Strong experience in a Lead Engineer / Senior Engineer capacity
• Commercial experience with:
• Golang
• React
• TypeScript
• REST APIs and gRPC
• Strong Azure experience including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Redis
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure DevOps / CI/CD
• Strong PostgreSQL experience (complex SQL + performance tuning)
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers in distributed teams
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Cursor
• Exposure to AI/ML feature integration in production systems
• Experience with multi-tenant or configurable SaaS platforms
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture experience
• Meilisearch experience
